Launched in April 2011, Motilo.com is an online community where you can shop together in real time with your friends. Motilo offers an interactive fashion-focused social network fused with a unique e-commerce platform.

The Motilo shop contains fashion items from hundreds of international websites, each carefully chosen by our in-house stylists each week.

Stylist Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic new member to join the Motilo team as Styling Manager. You will work closely with the editorial team, as well as overseeing and managing the Motilo edit. You will immerse yourself in the social media aspect of the website; interacting with users and leading with a sophisticated and fashion-forward style. Your product selection will strongly comply with the Motilo taste level and aesthetic.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

• Select key items across categories for upload on a daily basis.
• Create looks for specific occasions - define looks that are required - with a monthly plan.
• Collaborate with online partners for competitions.
• Select best looks.
• Develop strong, up-to-date knowledge of designers, brands, trends and Motilo editorial.
• Meet daily and weekly deadlines for uploads.
• Communicate closely with the Editorial team to ensure products and features appear at opportune times according to news and fashion calendars
• Provide the Editorial team with daily fashion/styling posts for the magazine.
• Ability to multi task and manage time accordingly; capable of working on ad-hoc projects whilst maintaining core job role.
• Style monthly video/editorial shoots using relevant press contacts.

Essential Skills & Requirements

• Previous styling experience in a commercial environment (preferably luxury).
• Experience in styling fashion editorial shoots.
• A real sense of runway looks and what trends are happening each season.
• Flair and individuality combined with awareness of the Motilo style and its user.
• Able to work well and motivate as part of a team in a highly pressurized environment.
• Strong fashion and styling sense with the ability to incorporate new fashion trends.
• Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines and an exceptional eye for detail.
• Excellent work ethic.
• Be pro-active and able to show initiative.
• Offer ideas to constantly improve the image quality and technology of the site
• Good time management.
