VPR, a boutique public relations firm located in Chelsea in New York (USA), is in need of interns for the Fall 2012 semester. Our clients include Yosi Samra, Minnie Mortimer, Camilla, Tt Collection, Three Dots, Maisonette 1977, Twenty Tees, Bod & Christensen, Me Too shoes and Cabe.

Intern tasks include:

• Sample trafficking and showroom upkeep
• Media monitoring and press clips
• Writing pitches, press releases, company bios, etc.
• Creating and updating media lists
• Assisting with set up for Spring 2013 press market week.
• Assisting with client events (i.e. Fashion's Night Out) as needed

Requirements:

• Highly organized, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Strong interest in fashion and public relations
• Available at least 2 days per week. Office hours are 10am-6pm.
• Able to lift boxes of clothing (nothing too crazy).
• Interest in social media (Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.) preferred.
