Account Manager - Fashion - Digital & Consumer

Bright Light PR is a growing fashion PR agency based in London. We are looking for a hands-on, creative and motivated Account Manager (Digital & Consumer) to lead the online and digital media activity across a selection of fashion and lifestyle brands. This is a mixed consumer & digital PR position, so the candidate will understand how both traditional and digital PR methods can be integrated to deliver engaging and influential campaigns.

The Account Manager will take an active lead and be responsible for implementing smart digital strategies which drive business results, as well as client relationships, line management and weekly workload planning.

You will understand viral, experiential, digital, and mobile and get excited by different forms of communication especially online and social.

Core duties include:

1. Social Campaign Management & Optimisation: Build PR campaigns for our clients and constantly optimise to deliver the best results (Setting up, monitoring, tweaking and evaluating PR campaigns)
2. Point of Contact for clients: Maintaining communication with clients
3. Reporting: Provide reporting and analytics as required for both internal purposes and client
4. Mentor junior staff and traditional PR staff on best practices in digital and social media
5. Able to produce compelling, engaging, sharable content for the Bright Light PR Blog.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Social Industry Knowledge: maintain a strong understanding of all the latest digital developments to increase your expertise in the space and therefore allowing you to take a consultative approach with clients
  • Knowledge Share: work closely with your colleagues to ensure that you all contribute to feeding our internal knowledge pool
  • Participate in new business and marketing for the digital practice, including proposal and plan development, pitches and relevant speaking engagements

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • A solid grounding in all areas of social media management and digital including blogger outreach, writing for the web, search and online advertising, analytics, app builds
  • A background in traditional and digital PR accounts within the fashion lifestyle sector
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms online – from web sites to intranets and mobile, social networks to blogs. General understanding and passion about the role of digital within integrated communications strategies.
  • Great communications skills: particularly an engaging writing style
  • A talent for building trusted relationships with clients
  • Ability to work as an integrated part of the team, proactively managing issues as they arise and fostering enthusiasm across the agency
  • Curiosity and a desire to seek out and solve problems
  • An ability to think on their feet
  • Results-focused approach and commitment to go the extra mile for clients and colleagues.
  • A self-starter who is positive, proactive, and resourceful

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years working in PR and Digital or social media
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
  • Experience in pitch processes is desirable
