Barneys New York appoints Chief Operating Officer

Shopping destination Barneys New York has announced the promotion of Daniella Vitale to the role of Chief Operating Officer. Vitale, who has been the Chief Merchant and Executive Vice President of women's merchandising and barneys.com since December 2010, takes up this new position in addition to her existing role and will now also spearhead store operations as well as women's merchandising and barneys.com as Chief Merchant of the retailer.
