Founder of the Scottish Fashion Awards, Tessa Hartmann has been given an honorary doctorate by Glasgow Caledonian University for her achievement and contribution to Scottish fashion, design, textiles and for providing an international platform to the talent and industry originating in Scotland. Principle and vice-chancellor Professor Pamela Giles said "We are delighted to welcome Tessa Hartmann into our academic community. Tessa, like our other honorary graduates has a remarkable record in public and business life in the city of Glasgow and in Scotland and will be an inspiration to our students."
