New London quarterly Town debuts

May 31 sees the launch of the new London quarterly print magazine Town. Published by Brave New World, Town celebrates and curates the best of London life seasonally, covering everything from fashion, style, arts and culture to events, openings, food and drink. The title is edited by Gill Morgan, former Executive Editor of The Times Luxx; James Collard, previously Editor of The Times Luxx and Style Director of The Times Magazine, is the Style Director; creative direction comes from Valerie Wickes who also works on branding and advertising with Lulu Guinness and Hardy Amies; and art direction comes from Carolina Otero, previously at POP magazine and C Photo Magazine; while Contributing Editors include Stephen Bayley, Hannah Betts and Craig McLean. The debut issue features the likes of Lulu Kennedy, Pablo Flack and Jeremy Lee, Justine Picardie's fashion column The Dresser where she tells the story of Dior's early days in London, and Jacquetta Wheeler photographed for fashion, styled by Raquel Franco. Distributed by Marketforce, Town is priced at £5 and available at newsagents, bookshops and other stores across London and the South East, as well as on iPad; a Chinese edition of Town will be published in June.
