Selfridges and NIKE are marking the Olympics this summer by creating an experiential retail space. From July 6 to August 12, the Oxford Street store will host the NIKE House of Innovation, a futuristic space which offers the best physical and digital experiences to inspire everyday athletes to be the best they can be. The space will stock limited edition sports inspired lifestyle collections, as well as offering consumers the chance to trial and buy the new NIKE + Fuelband, a wristband that tracks movement throughout the day, among other products and collections. The NIKE House of Innovation will also celebrate the culture and style of sporting innovation with a regular programme of free events and seminars featuring appearances from athletes, NIKE designers and some of London's influential creative figures.
