Bare Escentuals names new CEO

Beauty brand Bare Escentuals has announced the appointment of former Chief Marketing Officer Simon Cowell to the role of Chief Executive Officer. The announcement comes as former CEO since 2010, Myles McComick, has taken the decision to step down. Cowell joined Bare Escentuals in 2008 following a 15-year career at The Body Shop; he is recognised for his ability to balance both creative and strategic thinking with a focus on operational excellence.
