Fashion label RAOUL has appointed Purple to handle its UK press and publicity, covering both its ready-to-wear and accessories lines. The brainchild of Douglas and Odile Benjamin, RAOUL has been creating contemporary, luxury womenswear since its international debut at the 2012 New York and Paris autumn/winter shows. Originally launched as a men's shirt label by F J Benjamin in Singapore in 2002, the label branched out into womenswear due to the demand for tailored pieces for women. RAOUL is stocked at select retailers in Paris, Milan, London and New York as well as a range of standalone stores across Asia-Pacific. The brand plans to grow its international presence with the inclusion of a fresh focus on menswear and flagship stores in the fashion capitals.

STARWORKS GROUP USA ANNOUNCES NEW CLIENTS

Starworks Group USA has announced its representation of a number of new clients. The agency will handle PR services for Italian brand Stone Island, which was founded in 1982 and is known for its casual wear. The brand is stocked throughout the United States in stores such as HAVEN, Bergdorf Goodman and Ron Herman. Luxury lifestyle label VMT has appointed the agency to handle its PR and VIP services. VMT was launched in 2013 by Veronica M. Toub and offers caftans, resortwear, artisan jewelry and accessories, with stockists including Bergdorf Goodman and MATCHESFASHION.COM. In addition, British brand Boden has appointed the agency to manage its VIP services in the US.

Cosmetics and skincare brand Palladio has announced the launch of The Definer: Contour & Highlight Duo. The two-sided, super-soft contouring jumbo crayon is ideal for defining, refining and highlighting facial features, with buildable color for customized universal shade matching for all skin tones. The contouring shade helps define cheek bones, refine the nose, enhance the jawline and frame the face for a more sculpted appearance; it combines coconut oil and carnauba wax to create a rich and easily blended formula, while candelilla wax and ozokerite, a mineral wax, thicken the texture to allow for buildable color and an effortless application. The highlighting shade brightens the cheekbones, enlivens the eye area, defines the bridge of the nose, perks up the complexion and helps develop a youthful-looking glow; it is formulated with vitamins c and e to help protect skin from free-radical damage, as well as cupuacu butter to nourish the skin and provide a soft and creamy consistency, making it glide on with ease. gloProfessional has announced the launch of the Solar Shade SPF 50 from glo therapeutics. This lightweight blend of natural, mineral sunscreens glides on skin and absorbs quickly, providing broad spectrum protection to shield against sun damage and prevent photoaging. Designed for delicate, sensitive skin, it contains added antioxidants and conditioners to gently soften and smooth skin, helping to preserve a youthful glow. The two main active ingredients in Solar Shade SPF 50 are zinc oxide (8.6%), a safe and non-irritating physical sun protectant, with broad spectrum UVB and UVA protection and soothing properties; and titanium dioxide (6.5%), which provides physical protection from UV radiation, prevents skin damage and excessive melanin synthesis. The formula also contains tocopherol (vitamin e), dimethicone, ascorbic acid (vitamin c) and sodium hyaluronate. Available online from May, RRP is $34.

NYLON has announced the launch of the Sweet 16 Eye & Face Palette in collaboration with Korean beauty brand MEMEBOX, as part of its 16th anniversary celebrations, available March 31. Developed by NYLON's Senior Beauty Editor Jade Taylor and MEMEBOX, the palette is inspired by NYLON's signature pink, with names that celebrate some of its most iconic cover stars. It includes eight shades: Lilo (matte white), Mary-Kate (sparkly olive), Mischa (grungy rust), Lana (antique-gold), Paris (sparkly hazel), and Nicole (multidimensional blue-hued brown), as well as The Moment (iridescent baby pink shimmer pigment), and Sweet 16 (matte neon pink) which can be used as a blush or eye shadow. The palette is showcased on NYLON online, with different looks created by make-up artist Michael Chua for three of NYLON's favorite IT Girls: Taylor LaShae (The Party Girl), Elisa Johnson (The New Smokey Eye) and Aliana Lohan (the New-Age Grunge). Mungo & Maud has announced a collaboration with Peanuts to celebrate 65 years of Snoopy. The dog and cat outfitter brand has designed the line for Peanuts, offering its own interpretation of Snoopy based on Schulz's early works of the cartoon from the 1950s-60s. The collection features the Snoopy Bed, Snoopy Bowl and Snoopy Toy. Available this month across all Mungo & Maud stores, online and at selected retailers across the globe.

This week sees the launch of New York-based modern design e-commerce site Bezar.com. Founded by Bradford Shellhammer, the members-only site aims to connect emerging and established designers with customers through a series of pop-up shops offering authentic design items. Bezar.com will feature a new shop each day, typically lasting around three days, with one designer across four categories of: Art, House, Jewelry and Accessories. The pieces are exclusive to the website and curated by Bezar.com's in-house team. For the launch, 12 designers are available, including posters from an exclusive art partnership with the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation, and exclusive color ways from Necklush's hand-printed infinity scarves in the Accessories category.

Refinery29 has announced the appointment of Lisa Clunie as Chief Operating Officer for the title, where she will focus on scaling the company, continuing to build upon the internal culture and also develop talent. She joins from Ogilvy & Mather having held the title of Director of Creative Management since 2011. On the editorial side, Paula Goldstein Di Principe is moving to New York to join as Fashion Director in April, continuing to serve as Editor-in-Chief at Voyage D'etudes. She will collaborate with Connie Wang, who has been promoted from Style Director to Fashion Features Director, in order to elevate and work on the title's fashion legacy and mission. Anne-Marie Guarnieri has been named Deputy Editor, Fashion, Beauty and Shopping, overseeing ideas and editorial elevation for these industry areas. She joins from xoVain.com having worked as Editor-in-Chief for the beauty site. In addition, Megan Cahn has been hired as Senior Beauty Editor, previously working as Beauty Editor at ELLE.com and Real Beauty, as well as an Associate Web Editor at CosmoGIRL!.
